Eight Exoplanet Candidates in SAO Survey
نویسندگان
چکیده
Here we present eight new candidates for exoplanets detected by the transit method at Special Astrophysical Observatory of Russian Academy Sciences. Photometric observations were performed with a 50-cm robotic telescope during second half 2020. We transits depths $\Delta m = 0.056-0.173^m$ and periods $P 18.8^h-8.3^d$ in light curves stars magnitudes $m 14.3-18.8^m$. All considered are classified as dwarfs radii $R_* 0.4-0.6 R_{sun}$ (with uncertainty one star up to $1.1 R_{sun}$). estimated candidate (all greater than 1.4 times Jovian radius), semi-major axes their orbits ($0.012-0.035 AU$), other orbital parameters modelling. report two obtained 2022 based on individual observations.

Lunar Occultations of Stars with Exoplanet Candidates
We investigate the potential of lunar occultations for the detection of very faint companions, and in particular for the possibility of detecting extrasolar planets. We review the basic concepts of the method, and discuss the quantities which are relevant for this particular application. The near-infrared range, and in particular the K and L bands (2.2 and 3.6m), ooer the best dynamic range. We...
متن کاملTransiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite
The Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) will search for planets transiting bright and nearby stars. TESS has been selected by NASA for launch in 2017 as an Astrophysics Explorer mission. The spacecraft will be placed into a highly elliptical 13.7-day orbit around the Earth. During its 2-year mission, TESS will employ four wide-field optical charge-coupled device cameras to monitor at l...
متن کاملThe exoplanet eccentricity distribution from Kepler planet candidates
The eccentricity distribution of exoplanets is known from radial velocity surveys to be divergent from circular orbits beyond 0.1 au. This is particularly the case for large planets where the radial velocity technique is most sensitive. The eccentricity of planetary orbits can have a large effect on the transit probability and subsequently the planet yield of transit surveys. The Kepler mission...
متن کاملA Catalog of Kepler Habitable Zone Exoplanet Candidates
The NASA Kepler mission ha s discovered thousands of new planetary candidates, many of which have been confirmed through follow-up observations. A primary goal of the mission is to determine the occurrence rate of terrestrial-size planets within the Habitable Zone (HZ) of their host stars. Here we provide a list of HZ exoplanet candidates from the Kepler Q1–Q17 Data Release 24 data-vetting proc...
متن کاملAES Candidates: A Survey of Implementations
We present a cross-table of almost all publicly known implementations of AES candidates, including the ones done by the authors. A short overview of our own implementations of Rijndael is given. The relative easiness of doing “the world best” implementations and a lot of gaps in the table force us to ask if there is enough information known to really decide which ciphers are fast and which are ...
